A Soft Furnisher trained in traditional techniques, with a passion for contemporary textiles and styling. I aim to empower you to create your own beautiful, unique and personal home. Because your home is more than a place to live, it’s a place to thrive.

Teaching others to sew and create unique items from cloth is hugely rewarding, and is a constant source of inspiration.

I run regular group workshops in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The spaces are inspiring, the conversation always flows and there is always good cake.

Join me online for a workshop at a time that suits you, and in a location of your choice. With a combination of video, step by step photos, beautiful illustrations, detailed instructions and downloadable resources, learn at your own pace.

I am trained in, and can advise on, all areas of soft furnishing, from fabric choice to design of window dressings. Within my own workroom I specialise in making individual made to measure cushion covers and hand-sewn roman blinds using carefully considered materials and traditional techniques. I work in close partnership with a fellow soft furnisher for making up curtains. The desire to create something a little bit different, with thought, time and care invested in it’s construction is at the forefront of all that I make. Browse my gallery to gain a little insight into my inspiration and processes. If you see something you like get in touch.

I strongly believe in the importance of using good quality materials and sundries. I source and supply many of the items used within my workshops, please just get in touch if you're searching for something for your own project.

I can source and supply furnishing fabric, and if you lack in confidence a little when it comes to using colour or pattern with fabric and need a helping hand, I am always happy to help.

About Me

I am, and always have been, fascinated with textiles, colours, patterns and interiors. I'm intrigued by the way in which they can influence the mood of those they surround.

As a child I shifted my bedroom furniture frequently and requested many redecoration schemes. Luckily for me, my Mum was very obliging and adept with a sewing machine, igniting a love within me for working with cloth from an early age. This remained with me for many years before coming to the fore in 2011 when I embarked on formal training and established my business.
